More Birthday Fun!
Yesterday was so great! I got to sleep in, have room service breakfast, have a nap, go to the temple and go shopping. Then the best part of the day began, which was that Justin came and joined me at the hotel. My awesome sister and her family were kind enough to watch our kids so we could have a much needed night to ourselves. We went to the Melting Pot for lunch and then headed over to Scandia for some good old fashioned fun. We had unlimited wristbands, and had such a great time feeling like kids again. I think our favorite thing was the squirting water bumper boats, since it was so hot outside. That kept us nice and cool, so we did that a lot. Then we headed to Vacaville to meet up to see the kids and then go to dinner with my sister and brother inlaw. We went to Olive Garden for dinner.
Then we headed to BJ's for some take-out dessert. We had many attempts at Russ trying to get us all in a picture. This was the best one we got. Then a nice lady next to us must've felt bad for us taking a million pictures trying to get one good one, so she offered to take one of us.The food was so yummy and we had a fun time. It was such a great day. Then when we got home and after everyone else went to bed, my nephew, Spencer, wanted to play this funny game. So Justin joined him while I laughed and took pictures. It was some weird game where you start with a cookie on your forehead and try and get it to your mouth without using your hands. It was hilarious!
Spencer came out with the victory.
And Justin gave up and just ate the cookie. It was a fun way to end the evening!
