My Favorite Time of Year!

Christmas is my very favorite time of year. There are so many fun celebrations to take part in. We took full advantage of that today. This morning we had the wonderful opportunity to go to a "Jingle Jam" at another community church. We went because this amazing group, The Silhouettes, were performing. They were finalists on America's Got Talent, and I remember thinking they were so amazing, so I was very excited that they were coming so close to us (and for free!). Justin stayed home with the little kids since none of them were feeling great, and my mom and sister, Melia met us there.

I tried getting some pictures of the whole thing, but they didn't turn out too well. I needed to put my camera on the "action" setting. Ooops!

Then there were tons of beautiful decorations for great photo opportunities.

We had a really fun time, and we were all glad we went. It was definitely worth the 15 minute drive. It was a great start to our Christmas Eve! The rest of our day consisted of some more of my family coming over to our house. We had a fun time having a yummy dinner,

going to look at Christmas lights, our family's tradition of opening new Christmas pajamas,

and going caroling to some of the less active people in our ward. It was a really fun evening. We're exhausted from staying up way too late finishing up some last minute wrapping, but excited for Christmas!
